Who is Mrs. Purdy?!?!
This is my 13th year teaching art! (My 10th at Dugan!) I graduated from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in 2011 with a bachelor's in Art Education and a minor in psychology. I previously taught in both South Plainfield and Rumson, teaching art from Prek-8th grade, as well as at an art studio after school!

I play Volleyball and Softball competitively, and played Club softball in college.

I truly love art, and spend my time when not teaching students, creating my own paintings. I am so inspired by the effort and imagination of my students and hope to encourage every student to uncover the artist within! Remember the only one holding you back, is you. Let go and embrace your art!
