Welcome to a new school year!

I am Ms. Sofranko, and I am so excited to begin another year of learning, growing, and creating wonderful memories with my students. This year is especially meaningful to me as I celebrate my 26th year as an educator!

I believe every child is capable of learning and growing in a supportive, engaging, and encouraging environment. Our classroom will be a place where we nurture creativity, build confidence, foster curiosity, and celebrate the power of collaboration. I look forward to creating a classroom community where every student feels valued, supported, and excited to learn.

I hold a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and Psychology and an M.A. in Instruction and Curriculum, with a focus on Educational Technology. I also hold a Certification in Supervision and have specialized training in Orton-Gillingham Multisensory Learning through IMSE. 

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, exercising, and spending quality time with my family and friends. I am also a huge animal lover and enjoy giving back to my community by volunteering at my local animal shelter whenever I can.

I am looking forward to partnering with families throughout the school year. Together, we can support our children as they grow academically, socially, and emotionally while making this a year filled with learning, laughter, and wonderful memories. I am so excited for all that this year has in store!
