Welcome to Mrs. Sofranko’s 1st grade class! I am excited to have all of you in my class this year! I look forward to a year of positive journeys together where creativity and working collaboratively will be encouraged.

This is my 24th year of teaching. My classroom experiences include teaching second grade for seven years, third grade for one year, Middle School Applied Technology, and Educational Technology/STEM. I have a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. I also have a M.A. in Instruction and Curriculum with a focus on Educational Technology.  After completing my M.A. I went back to further pursue my career goals and obtained a Certification in Supervision. I am also trained in Orton-Gillingham Multisensory Learning through IMSE. In my free time I love to travel, exercise, enjoy outdoor adventure activities, and spend time with family and friends.

I am looking forward to creating great memories with all of you this school year!
