About Ms. Hudak
Meet Ms. Hudak!
We're so excited to welcome Ms. Hudak to the Dugan Elementary team! She joins us as our reading interventionist, bringing with her decades of experience and a passion for helping students succeed. This year, she is looking forward to working with students in grades K-5 to help them reach their full potential.
Ms. Hudak's extensive background in elementary education includes teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, First, Second, and Fifth grade, as well as serving as an interventionist for Fourth and Fifth graders. Her teaching style is eclectic and always tailored to meet the individual needs of her students.
She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and elementary education from Rutgers College, New Brunswick, and a master's degree in the Reading Specialist program from Monmouth University. Ms. Hudak also completed six summer institutes in reading and writing at the prestigious Teachers College, Columbia University, demonstrating her commitment to staying at the forefront of educational best practices.
When she's not at school, Ms. Hudak enjoys a variety of hobbies, including sailboat racing, hiking, gardening, and reading. She also loves spending time with her husband, David, and their retired racing greyhound, Skipper. We're so happy to have her as part of our Dugan community!
