Meet Your Teacher!

This is my twenty-first year teaching at Dugan. I have previously earned a Bachelor's of Science in Special Education and Regular Education. I have also earned a Master's of Science Degree at Monmouth University in a Reading Specialist program. I have completed a Post Master's Certificate for a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant License (LDT-C) and an Educational Supervisory Certification.

This is my twelfth year teaching in the REACH/PEP program as well as the gifted reading programs. It was an incredible nine years teaching first grade to start my journey at Dugan! I enjoyed watching all my students grow and change in a short period of time. I'm looking forward to making connections with more students and parents, as well as challenging myself and my students in new ways. I also have served on the school professional development team, the Intervention and Referral Services Committee, and directed the School Newspaper.

In my spare time I love to read, travel, and spend time with my family! I loved traveling to Sri Lanka, Ireland, Tahiti, the Virgin Islands, the UK, and many other places over the past few years! Presently, I’ve also worked several years as an adjunct professor in education master degree programs at Monmouth University and have served on many district committees.

I truly love what I do and I enjoy seeing my students grow and change through each year of school! It's an amazing privilege!
