Current Quarantine Timeframes as of November 2021
Quarantine is currently 7 days with a negative covid test or 10 full days.
7 DAYS WITH NEGATIVE TEST
-The last date of exposure to the positive case is considered day 0
-On days 5 - 7 after exposure, if your child has zero symptoms, get a rapid covid test (may not be covered by insurance) or a PCR test. The only time we accept rapid tests is for symptomLESS exposures.
-Once the result is received, email it to me firstname.lastname@example.org and return to school on day 8.
10 FULL DAYS AT HOME
-The last date of exposure is day 0
-The student should stay home for 10 full days
-The student can return to school on day 11
IF THE STUDENT DEVELOPS SYMPTOMS DURING QUARANTINE, YOU MUST NOTIFY YOUR SCHOOL NURSE AND GET A PCR TEST.
